Jude their hatred is so deep they will never concede or change. That's why I fear we are headed for another civil war. I hope and pray I am wrong.

It's not even just the policies that the left put in place that are failures. The personal responsibility of those meant to be helped is factor as well. Many don't take advantage of the very things meant to help them. They don't place emphasis on their education, work ethic or means to better themselves.

The hate is handed down each generation in many black families under the guise of talking to their children on how to stay safe from police/authorities.

While I think it is important for any parent to speak to their child about how to handle themselves if they are ever pulled over or confronted by a police officer (be calm, follow directions, move slowly, etc.) these talks are peppered with reasons to be fearful and hate, and to continue the bitterness from the past. No one alive today was a slave, nor a slaveholder, yet we have to be reminded that it happened all the time. Yes, I get it, slavery is an awful institution, but it is gone now in the USA.
I don't know of any other race that was put into slavery or marginalized that is still so vengeful about the past. We don't see Jews uprising because of the Holocaust, or Irish uprising because of the horrendous conditions that led up to the famines.

I just don't get the hanging on. Yes, remember the past so as not to repeat it but don't wallow in it.

Don't even get me started on the stupidity of taking down statues because they are "hurtful".

Well said and oh so true Sibby! Only thing I have to add is that the Dem party fosters this racial hatred among minorities because as long as they (minorities) are angry and see themselves as victims the Dems can count on their vote because they promise them the sky to solve all their problems....the trouble is they HAVEN'T solved those problems in the entire 50years they've been making those promises. Many Blacks have caught on to this but sadly many haven't or they're just happy to be victims because then that removes all responsibility for them to work hard and try to achieve a better life. Sad sad sad.

This does make me wonder what would be different if JFK or MLK had never been assassinated. Same with Bobby Kennedy. Would they have done things that would have kept the Democratic Party from going this far or would it only have happened sooner?

The Dem party has gone far far left of where it was in the days of JFK and MLK. They are probably turcting in their graves at what is happening today. The Radical Left now controls the Dem party so in effect that means, BLM, Antifa etc. are dictating the direction of the party. Make no mistake about it these people are Marxists and their goal is Socialism which leads to Communism. Think I'm over reacting? Go read their websites and then read Alinksy's Rules for Radical and the Marxist principles. It will open your eyes and scare the bee jeesus out of you. This is the path we're on folks and it's only a matter of time before they succeed. They control the media, our education system, and big tech and social media. Their goal is to over throw our current system of govt so they can remake it and control it. Turn on your TV and you will it happening before your very eyes.

They want the one world order.
Have to laugh. The Dems are bragging that  Biden has  brought in more donations than President  Trump. What they are not saying is and what has been proven,  that all the donations that are supposed to go to BLM are instead going to Biden.

They claimed to have raised more than Trump in the last month BUT Trump has raised more the the Dems year to date. The Repubs war chest is about 100m mil ahead of the Dems so far.

If they are non-believers this won't matter a fig to them, but one world order is one of the things necessary to fulfill the Bible prophecy of the end of times.

I found out this weekend that my daughter's landlord and friend Shawn will be moving out of state within the next month or so. This meant my daughter had to find new housing.

Sigh....and of course she moved in with her boyfriend.

She said the housing market up there is sparse for renters due to many traveling workers up there.
While I am glad that she is not homeless, this is painful for me. I know it's her life but I really wish she had been divorced first.

Let's me know how old I am with my old fashioned values.

Still love my daughter, and hope that this works out for her.

On the positive note I have seen online pictures of where she is living now. The building they are in is part of a large tract of land owned by wealthy people. They have the larger main house and other buildings, guest house, garage, etc.

Siana and Justyn are in an apartment above a workshop building. They have a very nice deck to sit on with a view of Crystal Lake. This is in New Hampshire.

If any of you are interested in looking, the church rectory has been put on the market.

I am surprised that none of the pictures are of the upstairs. The master bathroom is quite interesting, even though it hasn't been renovated in decades!

Definitely love them, no matter what.

She may actually be moving back to Charleston if her plans work out. One of her former jobs has re-opened. She is on a plane now back to NH after being down there to reapply. Seems the traveling jobs are getting scarce and if she gets this job again she will not be selling the Charleston house.

Justyn is willing to move with her. He has friends and such there too. It is just a matter of him getting a job too.

So lots of changes here.

One change I am not thrilled about: my bloodwork came back with not so good news. Seems I have a major thyroid problem. (which explains some of the symptoms I was having but attributing to other things). I go in to see the doctor tomorrow about exactly how bad it is and what needs to be done.
My older sister, favorite brother and daughter are all on thyroid medication, so obviously there is a genetic component to this.

Will update you all later.

Been to the doctor.

Will be on low dose of Levothyroxine for now. Need blood work in 4 weeks.

Also noted my Vitamin D is very, very low. Lower than the lowest I have ever had. So I will be seeking out more D in foods as well as taking the prescription strength dose of it.

The doctor said the D concerned him because of the case he knew that had CoVid and died from it all had extremely low D levels. (Remember we are in a high risk/death area for this).

Good thing I haven't been going out!

So, those will be things to take care of.

Now I need a nap after I finish going through the new posts!

Sibs both Mammacita and I had VERY low levels of D so we've been on D supplement for years. When China Virus came here I put Jon on it too since I also heard about the danger of low D and the virus. I also give D-3 to my son in his stocking each year since he travels so much and needs to keep his immune system in good shape.

I suggest you get the Vit D-3 at whatever dose your Dr recommends.

I take 2,000 IU daily. I used to take 1000 IU in the morning and another 1000 IU at nite but I couldn't find any evidence that it was necessary to take them 6 hours apart so now I just take one 2000 IU pill daily. Get it on Amazon Prime if you want.

Another thing you can get to boost your immunity is zinc tablets. I take 10mg 1x daily. Also get that on Amazon or Ebay. It comes as high as 50,000 mg but I don't think most people need any more than 10mg. Of course check with your Dr first.
